Slip Dresses

Slip dresses are in this Spring, and once you put one on you’ll know why.  They’re comfy, and they’ll make you feel pretty and feminine.  You can wear them with flats or heels. Add a great piece of jewelry to dress them up or dress them down.  There’s something for everyone; splashy Loco Lindo, a soft and sexy Odille, silky Catharine Bacon, Egyptian style Georgiou Studio, curvy Bebe, vintage inspired Silvie & Mado,  or a classy Max Studio.  These dresses are perfect for a wedding, a party, a graduation, a Sunday brunch and of course Mother’s Day!

the perfect outfit to wear to your dear friend’s wedding! A Closet Affair is bringing in formal, floral and all-occasion dresses as fast as we can right now so that you can find your perfect get up for that special occasion. And let’s all be honest, who doesn’t love an excuse to put on a pretty dress and look their best?

We know that not every dress fits any occasion. When you come visit, tell us a bit about the event and we’ll be sure to get you the perfect dress, shoes, bag and accessories to match. Check out our sample outfits for four different common wedding themes.

4 Weddings (from left clockwise)

  1. The Country Club: Try pairing a classic black and white floral sundress with satin black shoes, a timeless wicker and leather Coach clutch and dark sparkled jewels that will glisten in the sun.
  2. The formal evening: Nothing says evening wear like chiffon. Choose a bright color to stand out from all the LBDs. Pair with classic Jimmy Choo shoes, a beaded handbag and delicate jewels for a timeless look.
  3. The outdoor winery wedding: A bright floral print will make you stand out among grapevines and blossoming orchards. Pair it with pale leather boots, a snake skin bag and whimsical jewels to give it that “just chilling at the farm” feel.
  4. The beach destination: Formal rules don’t usually apply if the wedding is near an ocean. But you still want to look your best with a bright maxi, blingy sandals, pearls and a flashy clutch. Tip: don’t wear a patterned maxi to avoid a look that may overwhelm the other guests.
